SVSM is a club dedicated to the promotion of the hobby of scale modeling. Our meetings feature modeling subjects and programs covering all areas and genres of the hobby. Our meetings are open to visitors (see the meetings page for directions and maps) and frequently feature a monthly contest.

What's New?

Today's bomber heavy update contains more photos from the SAC Museum.  We've posted the Convair B-58A Hustler, Avro Vulcan B.Mk.2, North American RB-45C Tornado and PGM-17 Thor missile.

Starting another series of updates, we've added three walkarounds from Military Museum of Southern New England located in Danbury, CT.  They are M108 SPG, BMP-1 and M42A1 Duster.

Starting the new series of photos taken in Moscow, we've posted the albums for Yakovlev Yak-3, Yakovlev Yak-15 and Yakovlev UT-1 - all photographed at the Technical Museum of Vadim Zadorozhny.  Rounding out the update is the Klimov M-105 engine from Victory Park Museum.

Updating the softskins section we've added the photos from MVCC Camp Delta 2012 with the albums for  International Harvester M-2-4-233, M38A1 and Browning .30 Caliber M1917 Machine Gun on a M1917A1 tripod on a M1 Model 1933 trailer.

Continuing to post photos from the SAC museum in Ashland, NE we've added the albums for Convair F-102A Delta Dagger, Martin B-57E Canberra, McDonnell RF-4C Phantom II and McDonnell XF-85 Goblin.

The naval update for today gives us the photos of the battleship USS Iowa taken in Richmond, CA, submarine USS Clamagore SS-343 from Patriots Point in Charleston SC, Pilot Boat Drake photographed in San Francisco, CA and finally US 14"/50 Mark 4 Gun on a Naval Mark 1 Rail Road Mount from the National Museum of the United States Navy located in the Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

Updated the armour section with the photos of the Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha hull and T-20 Komsomolets from Moscow's Victory Park and M103A2 and Continental R-670 Tank Engine from Military Vehicle Technology Foundation.

We've also added a new model to the Members Models section - Soviet Submarine S-56 in 1/700 scale from Combrig built by Vladimir Yakubov.

For today's update we've posted more photos from SAC Museum in Ashland, NE.  We've added the photos of Mikoyan-Gurevich Mig-21F, North American B-25N Mitchell, Rockwell B-1A Lancer and Mk36 Nuclear Bomb.

Posted the photos from last weekend's SVSM Kickoff Classic.  The show was a great success as usual.  Thanks to everyone who came to the show.
