The Kickoff Classic is Northern California's largest plastic model show and is held in the Santa Clara Convention Center
With over 100 modelers and 425 entries Kick-off Classic 2010 was a great success. With another 100 or so on display the turnout was great
We'd like to thank all of the volunteers, judges, vendors and participants that helped to make the show such a success. Also congratulations to all of the winners. The quality of work exhibited at the show was great.
The theme for the 2011 Kickoff Classic is:
"Best of the Bay"
Any subject related to San Francisco Bay Area including but not limited to:
Moffett Field and NAS Alameda aircraft, Hiller helicopters, Mare Island shipyard built and Alameda stationed ships, anything built by United Defense San Jose factory (Bradleys, M113s, etc.), movie cars from the movies filmed in Bay Area, Star Wars subjects or anything done by ILM, hippies and much more...
