SVSM Officers
Kent McClure
President		   Unbelievably, he began modelling at 4 with a Monogram “box scale” Tu-16 Badger he got at his brother Eric’s Cub Scout Xmas party. As he says, so the addiction started. Today he leans towards the weird and unusual, but that scope isn’t limited to the subject object, can also include schemes/markings. He’s also an aficionado of 1/43 race cars. Kent considers his exposure to SVSM in 1979 to be to blame for his serious model building commitment.
     
Eric  McClure
 Vice-President		 Started modeling around 8, first kit he remembers building was Airfix 1/72 Typhoon. Been at hobby ever since. His main interest is 1/35 US Armor, WW2 to Vietnam. Eric also does aircraft, cars (Mostly Racing Fords), dabbles in figures or just about anything else that strikes his fancy. He has been a member of the IPMS USA since 1975 and involved with SVSM since 1979.  
 
Greg Plummer
Vice-President 		Greg has been a member of SVSM since 1998, and before that was a member of IPMS/High Plains Modelers in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He is also a member of Silicon Valley Scale Vehicles, a model car club responsible for the Western NNL show each year in the area. His modeling interests cover most bases, though his focus is on customized model cars and unusual/hypothetical aircraft.

Laramie Wright
Vice-President 		Laramie Wright started building models in 1964 and joined SVSM in 1995. His interests include 1/48 scale aircraft and 1/35 scale armor, especially Sherman tanks.

Bill Ferrante
Treasurer 		Bill has been with both IPMS/USA and SVSM since 1985. Bill's modeling interests are aircraft of all eras through the 1950's.
 
Chris Bucholtz

 Chris is very active in the IPMS, He is the IPMS Region IX coordinator as well as the General Editor of the IPMS journal. He is one of the driving forces behind the club.  He likes to build 1/72 scale aircraft, through recently he has branched out into various 1/72 scale vehicles you could see around the airfield.

DENS25403@mypacks.net		 A Life Member of the club. Seems at times singularly fixated on building 1/48 scale P-51 Mustangs or any product of the Bell Aircraft Company, particularly Kingcobras. Will build any subject or scale.

johnaheck@gmail.com		 John has been building models since the mid 1970's and has been a member of SVSM since 2003. He likes to build 1/48 aircraft—particularly World War II single engine fighters, early jets and modern weird stuff. John likes to smell glue.

Vladimir Yakubov

yak_v@hotmail.com		 Vladimir has been building models since he was a kid. He became a member of IPMS while serving in the US Navy in 1998 and joined SVSM in 1999. His interests include 1/72 scale armor, 1930's 1/72 scale aircraft, and 1/700 scale ships—mostly from the pre-dreanought period.  He is mostly interested in the Russian/Soviet subjects
